\u00a0A Domingos de Sousa & Filhos, S.A., iniciou em 1961 de modo quase artesanal a sua actividade, produzindo colchas para o mercado interno e ex-col\u00f3nias.<\/p>\n

A partir de 1974 a produ\u00e7\u00e3o evoluiu para o fabrico de atoalhados de felpo. Como consequ\u00eancia dos bons resultados obtidos, a empresa realizou v\u00e1rios projectos de investimento, procurando caminhar no sentido da verticaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, de forma a melhor controlar o processo de fabrico em todas as suas fases.<\/p>\n

Em 1995 encetou v\u00e1rios projectos de melhoria tecnol\u00f3gica e produtiva, entre os quais a reconvers\u00e3o e racionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de todo o seu equipamento, a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de um sistema de gest\u00e3o da qualidade e a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de uma unidade de cogera\u00e7\u00e3o destinada \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de energia el\u00e9ctrica e t\u00e9rmica.<\/p>\n

Presentemente, fruto de uma pol\u00edtica de investimentos cont\u00ednua e sustentada, a empresa tem seguido uma estrat\u00e9gia pr\u00f3-activa que lhe permite estar adaptada ao meio empresarial em que se integra.<\/p>\n
